Coming Up @ WCC.....
The STORY
We have gotten off to a great start with The STORY and it is wonderful to see everyone so excited about it!
Woodstock Christian Church is reading and studying through the Bible in 2012 by following a program called "The Story." The Story is God's Story and we will look at it from cover to cover through the year by reading, preaching and studying it together. If you want to know more about and from God's Word, join us as we learn about "The Story." A reading schedule is available at no cost and there are books available for purchase if you desire. The program continues weekly on Sundays at WCC at 9 am during the S.S. hour or at 10:30 am during the worship hour.
WINGS Prayer Breakfast
At this months WINGS Prayer Breakfast, February 4th, we will be featuring Lori Kennedy, along with other guests! Some of you may remember Lori from last year or from the Awaken Conf in Canton. She has a new topic entitled "Molded by the Potter." Please check with Beverly Vicznesky if you would like to help provide something for our breakfast. There is no charge for this presentation; however, we will be taking up a love offering. Please put this event on your calendar and plan to join us for some wonderful fellowship.
Grindle Baby Shower:
Please join us for a baby shower to celebrate the upcoming new addition to the Grindle family! It's a boy!! A baby shower for Kathy Grindle will be held at WCC on Sunday, Feb. 5th, from 1 - 3 pm. Kathy is registered at Babies R Us and Target. Gift cards are welcome.
WCC "Souper" Bowl:
Please join us for the 5th annual youth-sponsored “Souper” Bowl Party, at WCC:
Sunday February 5th @ 5 pm
Everyone is invited to join us. We invite you to come and bring your favorite beverage, a big pot of soup/chili or finger foods/desserts. At half-time we will have worship and a message by Lynn Eynon. We ask that everyone bring can(s) of soup to donate to the WCC Food Pantry. Come enjoy a great night of fellowship at our “Souper” Bowl party.
Men's Prayer Breakfast
February's Men's Prayer Breakfast will be Saturday, Feb. 18th. Doug will be cooking. Leadership / Elders / Deacons meetings will follow at 9 am. Come out for a wonderful morning of food and fellowship!
Knitting & Crocheting Class
Crocheting/Knitting: The Crocheting/Knitting Class has started again on Fridays at 10 am (beginning Jan. 13th). This group meets in the WCC Library.
February Blast Feb. 20, 21, 22, & 24
Need something to do during your Feb. break and you are in between the ages of 7-12? Come over to the church for a week full of great activities. Here's what will be available to your child during the week:
Monday, February 20 - Game Day @ WCC - $5 per person 11 am to 3 pm
Tuesday, February 21 - Movie Day @ WCC - $5 per person 11 am to 3 pm
Wednesday February 22 - Bowling @ AMF Lanes Wdstk - $15 per person 11 am to 3 pm
Friday, February 24 - Kids Sleepover & Secret Destination
$10 per person 7:30 pm to 9 am (Sat).
CPR/AED Training
The next CPR/AED training will be Febuary 25th in the Fellowship Hall from 1:00 - 4:30 pm. This is a FREE training! Please sign up in the church foyer to reserve a space to be CPR and AED certified. There is a max of 10 people per class.
