At this months WINGS Prayer Breakfast, February 4th, we will be featuring Lori Kennedy, along with other guests! Some of you may remember Lori from last year or from the Awaken Conf in Canton. She has a new topic entitled "Molded by the Potter." Please check with Beverly Vicznesky if you would like to help provide something for our breakfast. There is no charge for this presentation; however, we will be taking up a love offering. Please put this event on your calendar and plan to join us for some wonderful fellowship.
WINGS "Yard Sale"
The new storage shed is available if you need to store some items for our "Yard Sale" in May. A big "thank you" to Hazel Eggers for allowing us to have the sale again at her home. It is a fantastic location that doesn't even need advertising! We will have sign up sheets for volunteers to help with this project. Last year we raised $2000+! So save those cast-off items and donate them to our WINGS Yard Sale. ***Just a reminder, we still need a volunteer(s) to be in charge of our Yard Sale in May. It is currently planned for May 4th & May 5th. It is time to start getting it organized. Please contact Sue if you are willing to take on the "lead" for this wonderful project. Someone's junk is someone else's treasure!
WCC Cookbooks
We still have an ample supply of WCC Cookbooks for sale! Only $8 each and they make wonderful birthday presents for the woman who has everything or for that young woman just learning to cook. Lots of great recipes and much love have gone into this keepsake from WCC.
Have an Idea?
We are always looking for ideas for "outings" for our ladies. If you have some ideas you think others might enjoy, please contact Pam Prescott, our coordinator.
Looking Ahead:
The last WINGS gathering of the season will be on May 12th. Please watch your newsletters/bulletins for more information.
CPR/AED Classes
We have had to very good CPR/AED Training Classes and we now have 2 more sheduled for early next year. The first one will be Feb. 25th and the second one will be on Mar. 31st. Both will begin at 1:00 p.m. and last approx. 3 to 3 1/2 hrs. Sign up sheets will be available in the foyer after the 1st of the year so keep these dates open if you are interested. This training will be conducted by the Fire Dept. and there will be no charge.
