"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."
For this years mission trip the team returned again to the Bethshean Mexico Mission in Estancia de Animas, Zacatecus, Mexico. They will be there from July, 6th - 13th. We will update as we recive word.

WORD ABOUT THE TEAM 7/9/07
While Mt. Carmel wrapped up their week in San Luis shopping, eating, and having devos, I received my new group – Woodstock - at the airport with Cris. There are 12 in this team with two main projects. The men of the group – 5 of them – are fixing the roof in Maravillas as well as putting up soffit etc to give the church a more “finished” look. They definitely have their work cut out for them. The ladies in the group are helping with the crafts, games etc for this week of camp. We have the first timers as well as the primary kids this week.
They got a good introduction to flexibility yesterday. We changed the schedule around a couple of different times about the churches we would be attending, so the numbers of kids was different than planned, but in true mission fashion, they got their things together and did a good job. We were all in Maravillas for the morning where Lynn preached while Gretchen and Alicia taught about the armor of God. After a short lunch there of sandwiches, we proceeded to Sauceda, only to find out that they had changed their service time to take advantage of the recent rain on the fields. Since no one was there we went down the road a bit and had our first “church” service in Pastoria with Adriana and her family. On the spur of the moment she gathered about 15 kids or so, and there were a couple of adults besides her family. Frank preached – having to change his entire message on about a 5 minute notice – and we had the kids outside for the lesson. It was just wonderful! We hope to go again next week. We ended the day by going to Loreto to have services with Israel and Obed. God was truly there for worship, and while we had the kids out back telling the story we were able to see a gorgeous double rainbow! What a way to top off the day!
So as you can see, we have been busy, but productive as well. I continue to thank you all for your prayers and support for SOAR and the various groups we work with. Without you, it would not be possible.
Serving Him,
Keri Duncan, Soar Ministries
