Coming Up @ WCC.....

The STORY
Woodstock Christian Church will be reading and studying through the Bible in 2012 by following a program called "The Story." The Story is God's Story and we will look at it from cover to cover through the year by reading, preaching and studying it together. If you want to know more about and from God's Word, join us as we learn about "The Story." A reading schedule is available at no cost and there are books available for purchase if you desire. The program will begin on January 8, 2012, continuing weekly on Sundays at WCC at 9 am during the S.S. hour or at 10:30 am during the worship hour.

WINGS Prayer Breakfast
This month's WINGS Prayer Breakfast is Saturday, Jan. 7th @ 9 am in the WCC Fellowship Hall. We hope to see you!

Ordination Sunday
Ordination of WCC's New 2012 Officers will be on Sunday, Jan. 8th during the AM worship service.

2012 Leadership Planning Session
2012's Leadership Planning Session will be Saturday, Jan. 14th, in the AM (Time TBA)

CIY "Superstart"
If your child is in the 4th, 5th, or 6th grades, they are invited to be a part of an incredible program called “Superstart”. It's a preteen program created by Christ In Youth to help this age group understand God's plan for their lives. This year we will be going to Duluth, GA January 20 & 21 at Cross Pointe Church. Cost is $40 for registration. See Chip Ward if you are interested in your child going.

Men's Prayer Breakfast
Due to the 2012 Leadership Planning Session, there will be NO Men's Prayer Breakfast the month of January

Knitting & Crocheting Class
Crocheting/Knitting: The Crocheting/Knitting Class has started again on Fridays at 10 am (beginning Jan. 13th). This group meets in the WCC Library.

Blood Drive
On January 28th, 2012, we will be hosting another Red Cross Blood Drive. Please invite a friend to attend with you. Metro Atlanta continues to need your help! It is important to get the word out to everyone you know that we need blood. 30 - 40 minutes of your time and 1 pint of blood can save 2 lives. from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. Sign-up sheet will be in the foyer. Please sign up and tell others.

Parent/Child Dedication
This year's Parent Dedication will be on Sunday, Jan. 29th during the AM Worship. If you had a child in 2011 and would like to participate in this ceremony, please call the church office.

Teen Fundraiser Luncheon & Ministry Meeting
Our first “Teen Ministry” Fundraiser Luncheon of the year will be on Sunday, January 29th after the morning worship. Please stay after worship for a fine meal and fellowship with your church family. The teens will once again be serving a wonderful meal to the church family. So come for great food and support the teen programming. ***Our next Teen Ministry meeting will be Sunday , January 29th, after the teen fundraiser . All Parents of teens and teen ministry volunteers should attend. Stay after worship on the 29th and help make WCC's “Teen Ministry” a tremendous success in 2012.
